	Wednesday, August 6, 2025 Ancient Snails Dotty and Raven are two of our original four snails. Even the other two snails we have are at least four years old. Given that nerite snails usually only live up to about a year, that's extremely old. Dotty is starting to show it, she has cracks and marks on her shell and she's much bigger than when we got her. But Raven is still spry and much smaller than the others.
