	Thursday, February 2, 2023 Potato Cleanup Potato used to come sniffing around in the side of the cage I was cleaning all the time. He would study what I was doing and look for food in my hands. But a few times he'd start poking around in the pile of poop, looking for snacks. Guinea pigs do eat their own "poop," but not the regular ones. They produce special, non-stinky, half-digested ones that are meant for eating. So poking around the typical pig beans is pretty weird. He no longer picks at the dirt, but he does still come in during cleaning time, sometimes. It seems he just wants to do an inventory as I put things back in the cage, and maybe claim the large pigloo for himself when he feels like it.
