	Monday, June 26, 2023 Why'd It Have to Be Snakes? This was really weird and surprising. I had just refilled the hay, and was closing the bag. It has a little zipper closing at the top, so I pinched it most of the way shut and squeezed the air out. It made a little hissing noise. The pigs, who were all enjoying their fresh vegetable dinner, flipped out! They all dashed into the other side of the cage and hid together in the same pigloo! I've never seen them do that before. Even fireworks and dropped frying pans don't scare them that much. The only thing I can think of is it sounded like a snake hissing. They must be genetically coded to be terrified of snakes! I'm pretty sure they've never seen one, except maybe on TV, but everyone knows TV isn't real...
